I needed a creative outlet when I lost my job in banking a few years ago. Between job hunting I was sewing bags as gifts. People really enjoyed them, so I got up the courage to take them to a local artists shops. A few sold, so I decided to do some craft/art shows. My Aunt told me about Etsy and said I should check it out, the rest is history. I am in a few local shops, and I continue to sell at shows. I come from a very creative family, which is where I get it from. Right now I, along with my artist friend, Colleen, are opening up a local artist shop of our own in the artsy area of Lakewood, Ohio.
